Sustainable

Our farm is built on sustainable practices that prioritize the health of our animals and the land. Through multi-species grazing, we naturally regenerate pastures while enhancing soil health and biodiversity. We work in harmony with our farm animals to protect and preserve our ecosystem for future generations.

Our Motto

Our philosophy is simple: let nature lead. We raise our animals with minimal intervention, avoiding heavy machinery, antibiotics, and hormones while allowing them to graze freely in open pastures. Committed to animal welfare and sustainable farming, we continuously seek better ways to care for our land and livestock.

Regenerative

Our beef and lamb are grass-fed and finished on non-GMO grain (free of corn and soy), while our poultry receive a nutrient-rich, natural diet. We never use hormones, antibiotics, or vaccinations, ensuring the highest quality and ethical care for our animals. We’re excited to share more about our regenerative journey as it unfolds!

Sustainable

We practice multi-species pasture management, allowing animals to graze in rotation for natural field regeneration and sanitation. By preserving plant diversity, minimizing heavy machinery use, and prioritizing composting and recycling, we nurture both our animals and the land.

Our Motto

We take a hands-off approach to farming, avoiding heavy machinery, antibiotics, and hormones while allowing our animals to rotationally graze freely. Prioritizing animal welfare and land stewardship, we continually seek better ways to care for our farm and environment.

Regenerative

Our beef and lamb are currently grass-fed and finished on non-GMO grain (no corn or soy). Our poultry are omnivores so they receive the most nutrition possible, and none of our animals are ever given any hormones, antibiotics, or vaccinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Farming Practices Passed on for Generations.

What Makes Your Farm Different?

We raise our animals using sustainable, regenerative farming practices. Our livestock are pasture-raised, rotationally grazed, and never given routine antibiotics or hormones. This results in healthier animals, better-tasting meat, and a more sustainable food system.

Do You Use Antibiotics or Hormones?

No, we never use growth hormones, and antibiotics are only administered if absolutely necessary for the well-being of an animal (which is rare). Any treated animal is removed from our direct-to-consumer program.

How Does Buying Direct From The Farm Work?

We sell our meats in wholesale shares (quarter, half, and whole) or curated bundles. To reserve a share, you place a non-refundable deposit. Once the animal is processed, you pay the remaining balance based on the final hanging weight. You are responsible for paying the butcher directly for harvest/slaughter and cut-and-wrap fees.

What Comes in a Quarter, Half, or Whole Share?

The exact cuts vary depending on the animal and the butcher’s processing, but a typical share includes: Beef Quarter (Approx. 100-125 lbs finished weight) Ground beef, steaks (ribeye, sirloin, NY strip, etc.), roasts (chuck, rump, etc.), brisket, short ribs, stew meat, soup bones, and organ meats (optional). Lamb Half (Approx. 20-30 lbs finished weight) Chops, leg of lamb, shoulder roasts, ground lamb, shanks, ribs, and soup bones. Whole Pastured Chicken (Approx. 4-6 lbs each) Sold as whole birds or cut-up options, including breasts, thighs, wings, drumsticks, and carcasses for stock.

How is Pricing Determined?

Prices are based on hanging weight, which is the weight of the animal after slaughter but before butchering. Your final take-home weight is approximately 60-65% of the hanging weight.

Why Do You Charge Based on Hanging Weight?

Charging by hanging weight ensures transparency in pricing and allows you to customize your cuts. It’s the industry standard and ensures fair pricing based on the size of the animal before processing.

Where Do I Pick Up My Meat?

You have 3 options: Pick up directly from the butcher – Once your order is ready, you can pick it up at the processor’s location.

We can pick it up for you – We can arrange to collect your order from the butcher and meet you at a suitable drop-off location.

Delivery may be available – We offer local delivery for an additional fee. Some restrictions may apply based on location and order size. Contact us to check availability.
