Rotational Grazing

The herd moves. The grass recovers.

Our cattle are moved onto fresh paddocks on a schedule set by the grass, not the calendar. Short, intense grazing followed by long rest builds deep root systems, holds water in dry Augusts, and means we never have to lean on synthetic inputs to keep pasture productive.

Living Soil

We farm the ground first and the animals second.

Healthy soil is the whole operation. Manure goes back where it came from, we keep the ground covered year round, and we don't till pasture we don't have to. Every season the topsoil gets darker, holds more water, and grows more forage per acre than the year before.

THE FEED PROGRAM

Grass through the season. Forage through the finish.

Our cattle graze open pasture while the grass is growing. Through winter and the finishing period, they eat forage grown close to home — silage and baleage from the fields just over the hill. Slow growth on pasture is what builds the marbling and flavor you can taste in every cut.

Honest Inputs

No added hormones. No routine antibiotics.

We never use growth hormones. Antibiotics are given only when an animal's well-being genuinely requires it — and any treated animal comes out of our direct-to-consumer program. You get the same meat we feed our own kids.

Taste the difference
