Everything you asked before ordering.

We raise our cattle using sustainable, regenerative farming practices. Our herd is pasture-raised, rotationally grazed, and never given routine antibiotics or hormones. That results in healthier animals, better-tasting beef, and a more sustainable food system.

No, we never use growth hormones. Antibiotics are only administered if absolutely necessary for an animal's well-being, which is rare — and any treated animal is removed from our direct-to-consumer program.

Choose a beef share (quarter, half, or whole) or a ready-to-go bundle. Shares are reserved with a deposit. After harvest, we send your final bill based on hanging weight, minus your deposit. Butcher fees are paid separately, directly to the butcher. Beef bundles have no butcher fee. One price, cut and wrapped. See how butcher fees work →

A share is a portion of one animal, priced by hanging weight, with butcher fees paid separately and cut choices you make with the butcher. A bundle is a box of cuts at one set price. Beef bundles have no butcher fee. One price, cut and wrapped.

Every animal is a little different, but most shares include steaks, ground beef, roasts, brisket, short ribs, stew meat, and soup bones. Once your beef is ready, our butcher will call you to go over your cut choices. See where your cuts come from →

Shares are priced by hanging weight: the weight after harvest, before cutting. Pastureline Wagyu is $8.75 per lb and Pastureline Classic is $6.00 per lb. Your take-home weight is about two-thirds of the hanging weight, because bone, fat, and trim are removed during cutting.

It's how farms have always priced beef shares. It keeps pricing clear and lets you choose your own cuts, since the final cut weight depends on the choices you make.

Your deposit reserves your share and is credited toward your final bill. Quarter: $500. Half: $1,000. Whole: $1,500. Your final balance is based on your share's actual hanging weight and is due before your beef is cut.

Butcher fees cover harvest and cut-and-wrap, and they're paid directly to the butcher, not to us. Beef bundles have no butcher fee. One price, cut and wrapped. Estimate your butcher fee →
